Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to the nation the six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor on July 8.
As per an official release, spanning over 500 km in Rajasthan, this section which runs from village Jakhdawali in Hanumangarh district to village Khetlawas in Jalore district, is built at a cost of around ?11,125 crore.
As per the statement, this expressway will have a substantial impact on reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity between major cities and industrial corridors. It is further mentioned that the expressway will facilitate smooth transportation of goods, boost tourism, and contribute to economic development along its route.
PM Modi undertake a tour of four states including Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan from July 7 to 8, during which he will lay the foundation, and dedicate multiple projects worth ?50,000 crores."

Starting his event PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of eight projects over ?7,000 crore in Chhattisgarh's Raipur.
Addressing the gathering in Raipur, PM Modi said today is a historical day in the developmental journey of Chhattisgarh. He said the projects will give a fillip to infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh and further progress of the state.
"Today, Chhattisgarh is receiving a gift of projects worth over ?7,000 crore. This gift is for infrastructure, connectivity and to make lives of people of Chhattisgarh easy," the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister dedicated and laid the foundation stone for five National Highway projects worth around ?6,400 crores. The projects that were dedicated include the 33 km long 4-laning of the Raipur to Kodebod section on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway.
Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for three National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh Section of the 6-lane Greenfield Raipur - Visakhapatnam corridor. These include the development of a 43 km long six-lane Jhanki-Sargi section on NH 130 CD; a 57 km long six-lane Sargi-Basanwahi section on NH 130 CD; and a 25 km long six-lane Basanwahi-Marangpuri section of NH-130 CD.
PM Modi distributed 75 lakh cards to beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The PM said that ?40,000 crore assistance has been given to youths of Chhattisgarh under Mudra Yojna.
