KUALA LUMPUR: Shin Yang Shipping Corp Bhd has changed its name to Shin Yang Group Bhd.

       The company’s new stock short name will be quoted as “SYGROUP” with effect from July 14, replacing the old stock short name “SYSCORP”, while the stock code remains unchanged, Bursa Malaysia said in a statement.

       Shin Yang closed one sen, or 1.72% higher at 59 sen with 658,400 shares traded.
