Woman says she got ‘dress coded’ at the gym
A student has told how she was dress-coded at her college gym after being told her H&M top was "too sexual".
Allison Gallup, a college student living in Utah, in the US, was denied an on-campus workout because of her innocent-looking white tank top.
She blasted the move in a video posted to TikTok and showed viewers the offending outfit.
In the video, Ms Gallup wears a white t-shirt and pair of black leggings, which she shows from different angles.
The t-shirt, the item she claimed saw her expelled from the gym, prompted dozens of shocked viewers to comment.

The avid gym-goer revealed her shirt was white, covered her shoulders and belly, and had a unicorn emblazoned on the front.
The item confused people watching as she turned in place, demonstrating that there were no revealing angles.
She captioned her video: "Just got dress coded at my campus gym for wearing a 'tank top'".
She explained she got the "unicorn graphic tee" from H&M and shrugged off the experience.

The student, who was far from underclothed, joked that the item was "a little too sexual, I guess".
Her claims perplexed commenters, who were similarly shocked that she was ejected for wearing the modest outfit.
One asked whether men are "also not allowed to wear shirts like that?", while another suggested that most women at their gym wouldn't be able to work out.
They wrote: "No way they'd approve of what girls at my school gym wear."

Other commenters, and Ms Gallup herself, took the opportunity to poke fun at the experience.
She joked: "So grateful that we have a dress code to help me keep virtue."
And a commenter joked with her, saying: "Allison I can't believe you. That's really immodest, how dare you show your upper arm."
Gyms, whether on a university campus or elsewhere, often ask patrons to follow a code, but these vary significantly by location, with some requiring women to have their sports attire covered by other items and others not.
