Harry & Meghan documentary series teased in Netflix trailer
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were denied a return flight on Air Force One with American president Joe Biden following the Queen’s funeral, it has been revealed.
Sources reveal the couple's request, which was denied by the White House, was dismissed over fears that it would cause "commotion".
Meghan and Harry's staff reached out to the White House to see if it would be possible for the couple to travel back to the US with Joe and Jill Biden.
It has been revealed that the Invictus Games invite was just one of a few methods that the couple used to connect with political figures such as the Bidens.
It has been discovered that the couple also sought access in the political field, such as letter writing.

In 2021, Meghan penned an open letter to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, asking the elected officials to champion paid family leave.
As stated by the Daily Mail, a few months prior to the denied request, First Lady Jill Biden was invited to Harry's Invictus Games.
Despite an invitation, the US First Lady did not attend over fears that her presence could offend the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had flown into the UK in early September to attend various charity events.

Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle ‘humbled’ after being ‘brought down a peg’
Meghan Markle has been "humbled" by bombshell recent events, according to an in-the-know photographer that makes a living taking pictures of the Duchess. Jill Ishkanian, a superstar snapper, told Newsweek that "something's changed" in the world of the former Suits actress and that it's plain for all to see - or at least for those who know what to look for.

The Bidens both attended this reception and, as for the royals, the Palace described it as "for working members of the Royal Family" only.

Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals in early 2020.
In a statement released via Instagram, the couple revealed that the decision to step back came after "many months of reflection and internal discussions".
