A troubled father has said that he wishes his twins did not exist after struggling to look after them and admits he has no love for them.

Posting on Reddit, the dad says that his eight-month-old twins are difficult to look after, and between working and trying to look after them he’s struggling to feel any love for them.

He said his wife works later and gets home around 8pm but is already stressed from work and then comes home to twins they can’t look after so she breaks down crying saying she can not look after the kids and work.

His wife brings in half the household income and even her mother can’t comfort her to feel like she has enough time to look after them and instead talks about giving them up for adoption.

He then said that he doesn't feel any love for his children anymore and because they are affecting his and his wife's life so much he wishes they did not exist.

He said: “My wife and I have eight-month-old twins that for the last two to three nights have been having difficulty getting to bed and were running off of fumes at the moment.

“I come home covered in sweat from working on the roof all day doing pipework, my mother-in-law stays to help me with the kids while I study for a little bit but then has to go off to take care of other things.

“My wife doesn't get home until almost eight at night and is stressed from work and the bulls**t that's going on there.”

He said that when his wife comes home she can’t deal with the kids and instead talks about putting them up for adoption.

He said: “I'm trying to get the twins fed, calm and to sleep but nothing is working.

“She breaks down crying saying that she can't work and take care of the twins and talks about either giving them up for adoption or quitting her job which provides half of our household income.

“My mother-in-law tries to comfort her but my wife isn't receptive to anything at the moment this is happening.”

He then makes the shocking statement that he wishes his kids no longer existed.

He said: “I don't feel any love for my children anymore, they're the straw that broke the camel's back and I wish they didn't exist.”
