KOTA KINABALU: The country mourns the loss of a respected leader with the passing of Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub on Sunday (July 23), said Parti Warisan.

       Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the late Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister tirelessly served and made significant contributions to the nation through his unwavering dedication and hard work.

       “Parti Warisan wishes to express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Datuk Salahuddin Ayub, the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living,” he said in a statement Monday (July 24).

       He said the party was deeply saddened by the untimely passing of their esteemed colleague and dear friend.

       “The country mourns the loss of a well-respected leader who tirelessly served and made significant contributions to this nation through his unwavering dedication and hard work,” said Shafie.

       He said Warisan extends their heartfelt sympathies to Datin Fatimah Taha, their children and all other family members affected by this tragic loss during this difficult time.

       Salahuddin passed away at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah in Kedah on Sunday (July 23). He was 61.
