Prince William and Harry reminisce about childhood
Prince Harry has reportedly reached out to call a truce with his brother, but one royal commentator has claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales are unlikely to accept his offer.
The Duke of Sussex is said to have made a reconciliation offer to Prince William, with an insider telling In Touch last week: “Harry admitted he'd phoned William to call a truce and told his brother he and Meghan would be open to going back to London, where they would serve King Charles.”
Yet royal biographer Tom Bower has claimed that William and Kate are expected to “reject” the offer as they “cannot forgive” him for his actions against the Firm.
He told OK! Magazine: “I think Harry’s offer will ultimately be rejected. I doubt William and Kate can forgive Harry. I don’t think he can come back – he’s caused so much damage to the family and the concern now is that if he does return, he could well damage it even further.
“I think Meghan would’ve been horrified by Harry’s suggestion. She’s not close to William and Kate, and in my opinion, London was just a stepping stone for her. I would imagine the last thing she’d want to do is return to England to live in a small, poky flat in Kensington Palace.”

Since Harry relocated to the US after stepping back from his role as a senior working royal in 2020 he has only reunited with William a handful of times. They were last together in May for the King’s Coronation ceremony but were not seen interacting.

Speaking on the latest Daily Express Royal Round-Up, Royal Editor Richard Palmer said that the brothers could repair their relationship in the future.
He explained: “Maybe there will be some sort of reconciliation at some point but no sign of it at the moment I’m afraid.”
