       A dad has been applauded after he joined his daughter on a holiday after her ex dumped her a week before their trip. Emma Di Palma took to TikTok to reveal that her boyfriend had dumped her a week before their trip.

       However, instead of cancelling the trip, she was joined by her father who stepped in to cheer her up.

       In sweet clips posted on her account @emmadipalmaa, the father-daughter duo can be seen posing for photos and enjoying drinks on a terrace at sunset, laughing and smiling together.

       "POV: your ex breaks up with u a week before your euro trip so you dad comes with you instead," Emma wrote in a caption alongside the videos.

       However, she was faced with another shock during the trip, as she got to know that her ex was already dating someone else.

       She wrote: “When he breaks up with you to work on himself and one week later starts dating another girl”.

       Having her dad by her side appears to have hugely cheered her up, as in a separate clip with her father, Emma said her dad was “fixing a heart he didn't break”.

       In the comments, people were quick to praise her dad's adorable gesture, describing him as "the best dad in the world".

       One wrote: “This is the cutest thing ever, your dad is so precious for this.”

       A lot of people also admitted they were "sobbing" or "crying" after seeing the adorable videos, in which Emma's dad beams at the camera while the pair enjoy their drinks.

       Meanwhile, Emma admitted that it was giving her the perfect opportunity to bond with her dad.

       When one person wrote "trust me when I say these memories will mean so much more to you forever," she replied, "I so will I'm already learning [so much] about him".
