A school bus struck a parked vehicle and hit a utility pole before veering into a home Wednesday morning leaving at least one person hospitalized with neck pains, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 8:30. a.m., a 63-year-old man was traveling west in the 6000 block of West Waveland Avenue when he struck a parked vehicle and a city utility pole before landing into a residence, police said.

A woman passenger on the bus was taken to Community First Hospital with neck pains. Police said her condition was stabilized at the hospital.
Police also said there were displacements at the residence.
