Prince Harry lets slip his affectionate nickname for Meghan Markle in new Netflix series

       Prince Harry revealed the affectionate nickname he has for wife Meghan Markle during his latest docuseries Heart of Invictus, which was released on Wednesday morning on Netflix.

       The Duke of Sussex's new docuseries marks the latest project in the couples £80million deal with the streaming giant.

       The Invictus Games which was founded by Prince Harry in 2014 and is an international multisport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women and veterans.

       During the series, the Duke reveals his touching nickname for his wife.

       In episode 4, after the Duchess introduces him on stage at The Hague during last year's contest, the Duke responds by saying: “Thank you my love”.

       Meghan spoke of her “love and respect” for Harry before mentioning their two young children and saying she could “not be prouder of my husband”.

       She continued: “Now it is my distinguished honour to introduce someone who I think you'll be excited to hear from.

       “He has spent many late nights and early mornings planning for these games to make them as perfect as possible for each of you.

       It's a nickname Meghan has been known to refer to Harry with in the past, using it throughout her interview with The Cut to speak about her husband.

       The series is the second output from Archewell Productions, following the release of “Harry & Meghan,” which debuted in December.

       Signed in 2020, the deal between Netflix, Harry and Markle dictated the two were to create and produce a mix of feature films, scripted shows, children’s programming, documentaries and docuseries.

       According to People, the couple plans to adapt Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel “Meet Me at the Lake” into a film next.
