Man dies in major UK airport car park as police rush to the scene (Image: Manchester Evening News)
A man has died following reports of "concern for his welfare" at a car park in Manchester Airport.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the Terminal 3 car park at 9.20am on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The car park has been taped off and is currently closed to members of the public. Forensic officers have been spotted carrying out investigations within the cordon, reported Manchester Evening News
In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 9.23am this morning (Thursday 31 August 2023), officers were made aware of a concern for welfare at a carpark at Manchester Airport Terminal Three. Sadly, a man died.
"His death is not currently being treated as suspicious. There is a scene in place and the airport carpark is currently closed whilst officers carry out their response."
