After being alerted to a man living in the seaside cave, an official from the Regional Ministry of Territory and police officers went to see if it was true.
The cave man had set up a home of 12 years on the stunning Balearic Island near the es Cap de Barbaria lighthouse.
Upon arrival, officers found the unique "home" equipped with two beds, rugs serving as a walkway to the "bedroom" and a bucket which served as a shower.
The cave man was told he had broken the illegal camping rule by the Department of Environmental Management.

Formentera is the smallest of Spain's Balearic islands, and is a popular day trip destination from neighbouring Ibiza.
Last year, a hermit who lived in an underground bunker that he dug himself for three years was evicted by police.
The 38-year-old man, dubbed 'The Caveman of Haughley', had lived in the 15ft by 15ft shelter in the woodland near Stowmarket, Suffolk, since 2019.

However, cops received several complaints of him threatening locals, leaving many scared to walk through the woods.
Shortly before Christmas, police forced him out of his home, using anti-social behaviour powers.
Officers used a digger to fill in the whole to prevent the man from moving back in and he is now in the care of a relative.
A tweet announcing the move met with mixed reaction from the public.
One wrote: "If someone chooses to live off grid leave them, not like he was doing any harm…quite impressive really."
