A BRITISH man is fighting for his life in Greece after suffering serious injuries in a quad bike accident.

       The 20-year-old tourist was involved in a horror crash alongside another tourist, aged 19.

       The incident took place on the island of Zante, Greece

       According to local reports, the incident took place in the mountains of Agios Leon on Zante Island, where the vehicle swerved off the road and into a field.

       The man was taken by ambulance to Zakynthos Hospital and is now being treated in the Intensive Care Unit with brain injuries.

       The 19-year-old suffered a minor injury.

       Both of the men remain unnamed.

       The causes of the accident are unknown but are being investigated.

       Earlier this summer, another British teenager lost his life on the same island after being crushed by his overturned quad bike while on holiday.

       A second 19-year-old British national was inside the vehicle, but suffered only minor injuries.

       That same week, two Irish teens lost their lives on the island of Ios.
