DAIRY lovers have a beef with Tesco after it put a picture of a Guernsey cow on bottles of -Jersey milk.
They pointed out the chain had mixed up the two distinctly different breeds.

Shopper and cattle expert Neil Frampton hit out: “Pull the udder one, this is a joke. I nearly spat my cereal out.”
Bovine vets pointed out that Guernsey cows are medium-sized and fawn or red and white in colour.
They produce an impressive 6,000 litres per cow per year.
But Jersey cows are far more common.

They come in all shades of brown, and their milk has a -charac-teristic yellowish tinge.
Shopper Frank Bolton said: “We should milk this error for all it’s worth.”
Tesco said: “Our Finest Whole Milk recently changed from milk from both Guernsey and Jersey cows, to solely Jerseys.
"We are in the process of updating the photo on the bottle to a -Jersey cow.”
