8/10: Rather splendid, even with some occasional cloudier moments.
Express forecast
Today: Mostly to partly sunny. Highs: 61-67. Tonight: Mostly to partly clear. Quick shower? Lows: 38-45. Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. Highs: 63-68.
Forecast in detail
We’re entering another week-long stretch that will likely produce mainly or fully warmer than normal conditions. There’s at least a shot or two at 70s, including as soon as Tuesday. The days that don’t make the 70s are going to be delightful on the whole, regardless. We really could use some rain but also might as well enjoy this pleasant stuff when we get it.
Today (Saturday): Lots of sun with some cloudier moments as well. Best odds of cloud cover seem to be midday to early afternoon or so. It shouldn’t be enough to hold temperatures back. Highs are not far from average, or mainly in the low and mid-60s. I was torn on the Nice Day Stamp, so I leaned positive and ask forgiveness if clouds mess with it. Confidence: Medium-High

Tonight: A weak cold front — more like a wind shift — passes overnight. Some showers may develop along it, but the air is quite dry, so anything that occurs would be light and short-lived. Near or above 40 many spots, with upper 30s in the chilliest locations and mid-40s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Sunday): Sunshine rules once any lingering morning clouds diminish. Despite the cold front, it’ll probably be a touch warmer than today, with highs mainly in the mid-60s. Winds are a bit fresh from the northwest, blowing around 10 mph with gusts near 20 mph in the afternoon. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: Mainly clear skies persist as winds diminish. Lows should settle mainly into the upper 30s and lower 40s, which is mid-40s in urban spots or near the bay. Confidence: Medium-High
A look ahead
Clouds could be more numerous Monday. Doubtful they drop any rain, though. Highs again are mainly in the mid-60s, which may be lower 60s well north and northwest. Confidence: Medium
Still a mix of sun and clouds Tuesday, but there should be a noticeable boost in temperatures most spots. Overall, a range from mid-60s to low 70s, with many near 70. Confidence: Medium
