PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corp Bhd recorded a pre-tax profit of RM24mil for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2023, an almost five-fold increase as compared to RM5mil in the same quarter in the preceding year.

       It recorded revenue of RM402.8mil for the third quarter, which was RM81.1mil or 25.2% higher compared with the previous corresponding period.

       The significant increase was mainly attributed to the completion of the disposal of two parcels of freehold development land in Kajang and Genting Highlands for a RM71mil, as well as it continuous cost rationalisation to reduce overall expenses.
