A 60-year-old woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a man shot into her Portage Park apartment Sunday evening, according to Chicago police.

       Police said the woman was inside her residence in the 5200 block of West Cullom Avenue when a man she knew fired shots at about 8:30 p.m. She was shot once in the pelvis and twice in the abdomen, police said.

       She was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

       No suspects are in custody, and police said they are investigating the shooting.
