It was a pretty nice day, unless you like cold weather. Highs in the mid- and upper 50s are more than a handful above average, but with plenty of sun and a mild south wind, it was hard to dislike too much. More in the way of warmer-than-normal stuff is ahead through the weekend, even on Sunday, which is basically a washout.

Through Tonight: We should see plenty of stars — except for the urban light problem — overnight. Lows will range across the 30s but remain almost entirely above freezing. Patchy fog is possible by dawn.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Once any patchy fog dissipates, partly to mostly sunny skies will rule the day. Mid- to upper 50s should do it, with someone probably seeing 60. Winds will be light from the south.

Sunday: Showers should be around as soon as sunrise, but the heaviest rain is likely to come later in the day. Even with the rain, highs will aim for the mid-60s. As a cold front approaches, we will see rainfall rates increase into the evening. The heaviest still looks set for after sunset through the early overnight. Wind-swept totals will be near and past two inches in many spots. If you missed it, check out the detailed post from earlier.
