A 16-year-old boy was charged in connection with two separate robberies of two men that happened in late December on the city’s Southwest Side, Chicago police said.
The boy was charged as a juvenile in two robberies that happened on Dec. 28, 2023, in the 2700 block of South Kedzie Avenue and the 4400 block of South Archer Avenue.

The boy was arrested for the robberies Tuesday in the 1100 block of South Hamilton Avenue, the same block where the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center is located.
The boy was accused of robbing a 52-year-old man at gunpoint on Kedzie, and a 34-year-old man at gunpoint on Archer, police said.
