Nigel Farage blasted the two main party leaders (Image: GB News)
Nigel Farage has condemned Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer as the two most boring party leaders ever leading the Tories and Labour into the election.
His conclusion came after making an effort to tune into Rishi Sunak’s big electioneering speech yesterday, but he complained it was so boring that after 15 minutes he began “to nod off”.

The notoriously charismatic Mr Farage issued a stark warning about the forthcoming election during his GB News show last night.
Mr Farage bemoaned: “So a big speech this morning from Rishi Sunak, a long speech from Rishi Sunak. I thought, you know what, I'm going to sit down. I'm going to watch all of this.

“Whatever the content of the speech, and the riposte that we got from Keir Starmer, I have to say, in terms of delivery, after about 15 to 20 minutes, I was beginning to nod off.

“There was no energy, there was no spark, there was no fizz.
“Yet the arguments he was making were fundamentally important arguments.
“He's saying the world is a less safe place than it's been at any moment since the Cuban Missile Crisis, and that he is the right man to lead the country.
“Well, I don't know in terms of style, I can't imagine, perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps I'm being completely unfair.
“I can't imagine we've ever had two leaders going head to head for who's going to be the next prime minister, who are, frankly, so boring.
He concluded: “I think we can predict a very, very low turnout”.

The lowest election turnout ever, since 1918 when the franchise was hugely expanded, came in 2001 when Tony Blair secured a second landslide majority but just 59.4 percent bothered to vote.
The highest turnout, by contrast was in 1950 when a whopping 83.9% of people turned out to participate in the democratic contest.
Many voters will be hoping Mr Farage himself re-enters politics in an attempt to liven up the forthcoming election.

Last night a new JL Partners poll found that Reform UK would surge a whopping 8 points if Mr Farage returned to lead the party.
He would immediately strip both the Tories and Labour of 4 percent each, with polling firm director Scarlett Maguire warning it would be a “knockout blow” for the Conservatives.
Mr Farage has since reacted to the poll, warning: “Regardless of what I decide to do next, the Conservatives are toast anyway”.
