Nigel Farage responded to Tesla founder Elon Musk as he challenged the relationship between mainstream media providers with the British Government.
Mr Musk repeatedly took to his own social media platform, X, to voice his opinion about the UK and the ongoing racially-motivated unrest that has rocked the country for the past week. He was particularly critical of Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

In a video shared on X, which was formerly known as Twitter, the Reform UK leader addressed the billionaire's questions about mainstream media coverage of Mr Starmer and his Government's work.
Mr Farage said: "Elon Musk asks a very important question - why do the UK media, with a few exceptions, just parrot the government?
"Well, I'll tell you why, Elon. It's dead simple. It's called consensus."

He added: "It's called, 'when everyone gets together with group think and says open borders are fantastic. Come in, everybody, we don't care whether you speak our language or share our values. We don't care about the population explosion, meaning our kids can't get houses.'
"You see, for them to admit, all of them, the Conservative, Labour parties and mainstream media to admit they got it wrong would be to go against the world view they've held for decades."
He added: "They believe they are the be kind, lovely people and anyone that believes in borders, believes in culture, believes in community, believes in country, somehow, we're the bad dudes."
Mr Farage has been in the eye of the storm since the start of the riots, with the Government accusing him and his party of having contributed to fuelling a panic over immigration with his work over the years.
The unrest kicked off in the aftermath of the tragic death of three young girls in Southport last week.

False information identifying the attacker as a Muslim asylum seeker soon started spreading on social media. The suspected murderer was later identified as a 17-year-old boy from Banks, Lancashire.

A YouGov poll found the Reform UK leader's favourability rate had significantly dropped since the start of the riots.
The poll, which included Leave and Reform voters, saw his ratings drop from +7 to -4.
