IPOH - How far would you go for your pets?

       In this case, a Malaysian woman rented a lorry to take all her cats – reportedly 100 of them – from Ipoh to her new home in the northern state of Kedah.

       In a TikTok video posted on Aug 10 by @m.dan_22, the woman’s neighbour, the felines – a mix of cats and kittens – are seen in cages of different sizes along with litterboxes and feeding bowls.

       Some cages have been loaded onto the lorry, while many others are still on the road outside the woman’s home.

       The cats do not seem to be in distress. Some are seen looking around curiously while lapping up water from their bowls.

       The TikTok video has since amassed over 140,000 views and 17,000 likes.

       Malaysian social news site World of Buzz reported that the cat owner is moving with her 100 pet cats to her new home in Kedah.

       Several TikTok users thanked the woman for taking good care of her pets instead of abandoning them.

       Others however, expressed concern for the cats’ comfort during the long lorry ride.

       The travel time from Ipoh to Alor Setar, the capital of Kedah, is close to three hours.

       Many also said they are eager to know the status of the cats in their new home.
