Tragedy as body found in reservoir after boy, 15, disappeared from his home in Bradford

       A BODY has been found in a reservoir after a three-day police search for a missing 15-year-old boy.

       Cops said that while formal identification is yet to take place they believe it is the body of Zakir Muhammad Mughal, from Bradford.

       The body was discovered after officers combed the city's Chellow Dene reservoirs yesterday evening.

       Detectives investigating the death said it was not being treated as suspicious at this time.

       Zakir was reported missing from home on Tuesday.

       He was wearing a black tracksuit and a North Face jacket when he was last seen.

       Zakir was described as an Asian male, around 5ft tall, of skinny build, with dark brown hair.

       A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police searching for missing teenager Zakir Muhammad Mughal have found a body.

       "The body was located in Chellow Dene reservoir at just before 6pm on Thursday.

       "Although formal identification is yet to take place, the body is believed to be that of Zakir and his family have been informed.

       "The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."

       Bradford Council said Chellow Dene reservoir shut to the public yesterday due to "police activity in the area".

       It included the car park, footpaths and grounds around the reservoir.
