Queen Elizabeth II allegedly used to do regular impressions of both Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump, taking a fondness for impersonating the latter in her later years. According to one royal expert, the late monarch became skilled at impersonating Royal fan Trump, after he visited the UK on multiple occasions, and her impersonation of Melania included putting on a bored face and muttering a five-word phrase.
Royal commentator Ephraim Hardcastle recalled: "The late Queen Elizabeth, who hosted Donald Trump three times in 18 months, became adept at impersonating the US President. Less known, however, is that the monarch also had a take on his rarely heard wife Melania. A source, who was present when she was asked to render the First Lady, says that HM would go silent, put on a bored face and eventually mutter: 'I want to be alone' à la Marlene Dietrich. It seems the Queen felt sorry for the latest Mrs Trump.”

Said royal status was felt to full effect as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer deployed the Royal Family in an attempt to woo Trump during his visit to Washington earlier this year.
Whether the comments will affect how Trump feels about the Royal Family ahead of his unprecedented second state visit later this year is unknown, but experts have praised how Britain has taken advantage of its royal status.
According to experts, the move, though controversial, proved that the Royal Family still has a place despite calls from anti-monarchy protesters for the UK to ditch The Firm.

Writing in the Guardian, Caroline Davies observed this isn’t the first and won’t be the last time that royals will be deployed to welcome controversial figures into the country as part of the government’s strategy.

Fellow commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has also weighed into the debate, claiming that Trump’s visit could be almost as dramatic given King Charles’s position as a fervent environmental campaigner, going so far as to power his beloved Aston Martin on wine and cheese.
What’s more, the King has also been open in his friendliness to Trump’s former ally Ukraine, rubbing shoulders with President Volodymyrr Zelesnky at Sandringham just days after he was attacked by Trump and Vance at the White House.
In the past, the monarch has spoken out against the “indescribable aggression” against Ukraine, criticising what he called an “unprovoked attack on their land” by Russia whilst Trump has openly tried to thaw relations with the nation that began the illegal invasion over three years ago.
