Kensington Palace has announced a major staffing shift for Prince William and Princess Kate. Sarah Rose will become the new Chief Executive Officer of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. Ms Rose has led Channel 5 and Paramount’s business in the UK since February 2024 and will become CEO in February 2026.
On the news of the new hire, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Sarah to The Royal Foundation and to working with her on some of the issues which are closest to our hearts. We are hugely grateful to Amanda for her exceptional leadership over the past three years and are pleased she will continue to work with us in her new role as Global Partnerships Ambassador.”

When Amanda begins her new role next year, she will have many exciting projects to get involved with. While the fifth annual Earthshot Prize Awards will be hosted in Brazil this year, she will undoubtedly play a key role in the sixth awards towards the end of 2026.
As well as this, Prince William's passion project, Homewards, will mark its third anniversary next year as it continues to work to prove that it is possible to end homelessness, making it "rare, brief and unrepeated."
Homewards is focusing on six areas around the UK using scalable solutions to really make a difference – Lambeth in South London, Bournemouth, Newport, Belfast, Aberdeen and Sheffield.
