Meghan Markle's latest attack on the Royal Family shows that she is "trying to have it both ways", according to one royal expert. The 44-year-old saw the release of the second series of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, yesterday - with esteemed royal expert Ingrid Seward now analysing how Meghan is trying to grasp the best of both worlds.
The former working royal stepped down from the Firm in 2020, just two years after marrying Prince Harry. Speaking to The Sun, Ms Seward said: The thing is, we wouldn't be watching this Netflix show, if Meghan wasn't married to who she is married.

"What she's trying to do, I feel, is divorce herself from who she is for this particular show, and yet at the same time, she's using who she is, because otherwise no one would be remotely interested in watching it, and Netflix wouldn't have made it. Meghan Markle endured an embarrassing blunder with her new As Ever product launch earlier this week. The Duchess of Sussex released a fresh wave of products on August 26 to coincide with the second series of her lifestyle show 'With Love, Meghan' on Netflix.
When new episodes dropped on the streaming platform on Tuesday, some featured a QR code that, when scanned, would take you directly to an online shop where Meghan’s products were available to buy. But, there was a technical problem as generic shirts with the words "example product title" were showing on the screen.

Meghan displays her open bag on a bed and begins placing clothes into piles and sections, explaining the simple task of how to pack items away neatly.
Meghan explains: "Seeing it all is really helpful. I used to be one of those people who said 'Let's just throw everything in the bag.' Then you get there and go, 'Oh gosh, I forgot that thing'. So I've become really conscious of the things I need that are uniform and staples that you can mix and match."

Meghan Markle blasted for 'missing' element in Netflix show after family discovery
A news commentator has blasted The Duchess of Sussex for failing to showcase food from her heritage on her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex's decision not to include any food from Nigeria was labelled as "confusing".
The second season of the show premiered on August 26, and continues Meghan's quest to host guests, make them "offerings," and cook simple dishes. Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show, news commentator Samara Gill said: "I would have loved to see some traditional meals then, for this Nigerian side that she talks about having."

Royal makes first appearance since son charged with rape
Crown Princess Mette-Marit made her first public appearance since the indictment against her son, Marius Borg H？iby, as she celebrated 100 years of the royal residence - Gamlehaugen Castle in Bergen on August 26. The Norwegian royal, 52, attended celebrations alongside her husband, Crown Prince Haakon, as well as her in-laws, King Harald and Queen Sonja.
The celebrations took place just a week after it was confirmed that Marius, 28, had been charged with 32 offences, including four counts of rape. Although he denies the most serious accusations against him, he plans to plead guilty to some lesser charges in court when the trial starts, his lawyer Petar Sekulic told Reuters. Marius does not have a royal title and is outside the line of royal succession.

Princess Beatrice has gone into business with a senior figure at the World Economic Forum (WEF), it has been announced. The royal, who recently celebrated her 37th birthday, has been named as a director and 45 percent shareholder of Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd.
The company is a newly established company listed at Companies House, with their purpose spanning "business and domestic software development", other information technology service activities", and "management consultancy activities".

Julia, who was explaining to viewers that the Netflix programme has returned to screens for a second season, began: "Welcome back to the show, I've been looking forward to this all morning - I really have.
"Meghan Markle, you remember her? The Duchess of Sussex - she does not come into the news much. She's very big on privacy for herself and her family, as you will all know. Continuing her heated monologue, she swiped: "For some reason, Netflix thought it was good to do a second series even though the first series was somewhat of a flop, especially for the millions they paid for it."

Princess Diana time capsule full of 90s relics opened after 34 years
A time capsule buried by the late Diana, Princess of Wales in March 1991 has been reopened after 34 years. The box was sealed to mark the laying of the foundation stone of the hospital's Variety Club Building, which opened in 1994.
The wooden box, which contained Kylie Minogue's Rhythm of Love album and a passport, was meant to be opened after "hundreds of years" but has been dug up for the construction of a children's cancer centre.

Sarah Ferguson has posted new photographs of Queen Elizabeth II’s dogs who have lived with her and her ex-husband Prince Andrew since the late monarch’s death in 2022. To mark International Dog Day, the Duchess of York has shared two photographs with the corgis, called Sandy and Muick.
