Wine producing regions in France were badly hit by frost, wet weather and disease earlier in the year.On Friday, the French ministry of agriculture warned wine production is expected to fall by 24-30 percent in 2021. Some of France’s most important vine-growing regions, such as Burgundy and the Rhone Valley, suffered due to late April frosts which slashed production.
