PUTRAJAYA: Batik Air will begin its Kuala Lumpur-Sibu flights two days earlier than planned – at RM399 one-way – to cater to those going back for Chinese New Year. The tickets started selling yesterday. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the ministry had asked Batik Air to offer flights to Sibu on Feb 6 and Feb 7. Prior to this, Batik Air had announced that it would begin regular flights to Sibu, Tawau and Kota Baru from Feb 8. However, Loke said that cooperation had been sought from Batik Air
