Two couples have triumphed in a four-year row with a neighbour by using squatters’ rights. The Court of Appeal ruled that potter David Wright and his wife Laura, along with neighbours Tony and Amanda Clapham, own the 4ft-wide brook that runs along the back of their homes in Thrussington, Leicestershire, in a legal battle sparked during lockdown.
