Almost 1, 000 GP practices have been ordered to improve patient access, amid growing concern about the number of patients struggling to see a family doctor. Sajid Javid, the Health Secretary, said GPs must provide face-to-face appointments, after patient groups urged the Government to “ get a grip ” on the growing crisis.
