PETALING JAYA: A total of 6, 840 or 54.6% of the 12, 528 new Covid-19 cases recorded on Saturday( July 17) were asymptomatic, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. The Health Director General added that another 43.6% or 5, 846 only showed light symptoms.He said in a tweet on Saturday that out of the total, 64 cases or 0.5% were classed as critical requiring ventilator support while another 44 cases( 0.4%) required oxygen. Aside from this, he said that 112 cases or 0.9% showed lung inflammation.
