Three people were shot Wednesday near a Green Line station on the South Side. Shortly before noon, paramedics were called to the intersection of 63rd Street and South King Drive where the victims were shot, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt. The three, a 73-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman, and a 39-year-old man were all taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they where their conditions, though serious, had stabilized, said Merritt and Chicago police.
